I’m a Braxton County native, and after spending many years in Charlotte, North Carolina my husband and I had the opportunity to return home to the mountains that we had missed so much.

Once we settled in, I began pursuing the path to becoming an Agent and am so fortunate to now be able to serve my hometown community by offering the protection of State Farm Insurance. My insurance career started in 2007 and I have continued to expand my knowledge of all lines of insurance and financial products since.

I officially joined State Farm as a team member in 2015, but I was no stranger to the company. My mother has been with State Farm for over 24 years! She will be working here with me at Ashlee Dangerfield State Farm along with my sister and the rest of my team who I consider family as well. I aspire to have all our customers feel like part of our family too! Whether it's safeguarding your home, your vehicle, or your future, our team is here to provide you with the service you deserve.

My passion is helping make people feel safe and protected from life’s unexpected events. That passion also extends to helping animals in need. I have worked closely with animal adoption and rescue agencies for over a decade to ensure our furry friends are living their lives to the fullest. I am the “fur mom” of 8 (!) rescued dogs & cats who are thoroughly enjoying life in the hills of WV.

I have been with my husband, Jon Dangerfield, for 16 years and we live here in Gassaway with all our pets. We love kayaking on the Elk River, gardening, and exploring all the beauty of West Virginia.
